As a published author with HarperCollins, and with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, I know the setbacks you can encounter when writing. If it’s not imposter syndrome it’s self-doubt, and if it’s not self-doubt, it’s rejection. Perhaps you start something and never get it finished. Perhaps you find writing to be lonely. Perhaps you’re unsure if what you’ve written is any good at all. Perhaps it’s everything all at once.

Whatever it is, I’m here to help you. With my writing for coaching services, I aim to work with you one on one to grow your confidence as a writer, to approach writing as a job to be respected, and to develop your story and your sense of self.

With the option of uniquely blending mindfulness techniques, as well as tarot and astrology, I’ll help you feel connected to your story, and learn to trust your intuition.

With my writing coaching, you will get tailored feedback which looks at story and character development, scene pacing, dialogue, character and story arcs, as well as focussing on a particular topic you think you need work on. If you opt for a 3 or 6 meetings, we will develop your story together. I’ll give you writing prompts, assign writing exercises, and we’ll have regular check-ins and progress support, where I’ll ensure you’re meeting your writing goals. If you opt for a mindful approach to writing, we’ll incorporate astrology, tarot and mindful techniques to equip you to be a better writer.

We will discuss your writing hopes, your writing anxieties and hang ups, and career options.

I am a fiction novelist, and a journalist. I have been studying writing for many years. I am also currently studying a Masters in Creative Writing and Education, with a focus on teaching Creative Writing.
